一、蒸煮（Degrease），顧名思義，就是把木材用來蒸煮。鍋爐里水加熱沸騰，將材料放入之中，高溫蒸煮十二小時以上。起到脫脂，而且能殺死木質中的蟲卵。

二、烘干（Dry），木材干燥設備要實現對木材的強制干燥（控制含水率、應力），必須具備三個基本功能：加熱、調濕和通風。加熱功能不言而喻；調濕（噴蒸汽或霧華水）用于保障干燥某些階段所需的高濕度環境，防止木材開裂、變形等；通風設備必須保證濕熱空氣均勻地穿過材堆的各個部位，使干燥后的木材含水率、應力均勻。目前烘干更常有兩種方式；

、烘房，利用科學合理設計，通風設備良好，自動控溫，控制濕度，完全可精確控制木質的含水率以及木材所產生的應力，而且材堆里各個部位均勻。

三、選料(Choose to anticipate)，經過蒸煮脫脂，烘干。再進行材料的優劣篩選，本身橡木木節疤多，一些死節疤料給淘汰。

五、打磨(polish)，待成型毛胚后的木桶。打磨又分為三部份：打磨內圓—合底—打磨外圓。

六、箍桶(Hoop bucket)，桶箍現在市場一般選用的是鍍鋅的鋼皮與不銹鋼皮，材料的厚度在3mm。

七、防腐，防水處理，精打磨。把整個桶全部浸泡防腐液中，必須達到防腐液完全浸入木質中。根據這樣處理來看，用上二十多年也不會出現腐爛現象。待木桶面上的防腐液完全干透了。進行人工手砂磨，手感要達到細膩均勻。
7、 Anticorrosion, waterproof treatment, fine grinding. Immerse the whole barrel in antiseptic solution, which must be completely immersed in wood. According to this treatment, it will not rot after more than 20 years. Wait until the antiseptic solution on the surface of the barrel is completely dry. The hand sanding should be smooth and even.
八、油漆(paint)，油漆也是質量重要的一關，噴涂制作，漆膜厚實，健康，耐水耐高溫、耐酸堿性。油漆必須要達到檢驗標準。
